Many third sector providers find themselves supporting individuals who either have experience of the justice system or are actively receiving support. Many of these individuals may have experienced trauma in their lives and this has significant implications for supporting them.
At this session Neil Martin, Senior Practitioner from Fife Justice Service, will help us understand:
- The Justice Social Work service in Fife including role, remit, and types of community-based disposals available to the court
- Key terms and common acronyms/phrases and labels
- Where to go and who to contact if you have concerns about someone they are supporting
- Fife Justice Social Work's vision for trauma-informed approaches with service users
