Fundraising Success!

Thank you to everyone who kindly gave up their time to support us at our festive coffee morning fundraisers! Whether you bought raffle tickets, delicious home baking, or played tombola, every penny truly counts and helps us continue to support the amazing carers throughout Fife.

Thanks to your generosity, we managed to raise an incredible £1,467!

Wellness Recovery Action Plan

This time of year can be tough, but we’re here to help! Our free Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) for unpaid carers offers practical tools to boost wellness, create daily plans, and prepare for challenges, helping you stay in control and move forward. For more information get in touch!

Carer Positive Success!

We’re thrilled to announce that Fife Carers Centre is now an Exemplary Carer Positive employer!

We’re proud to support working carers with creative approaches, carer-led initiatives, and a culture where carers are valued every step of the way. From recruitment to day-to-day support, our Caring for Carers policy ensures wellbeing and recognition are at the heart of what we do.

We also ensure we raise awareness in our community, helping other employers understand the challenges carers face, and promoting positive change.

Thank you to Carer Positive for this recognition!

Living with Loss SessionsWe’re thrilled to offer more Living with Loss sessions, an interactive and creative 8-week course led by Susan Hollins.

These sessions are designed not just for carers who have experienced bereavement but also for those supporting someone with a terminal illness or a progressive condition like dementia.

These sessions will:

  • Encourage open conversations about grief and loss

  • Provide tools to manage emotions and build resilience

  • Explore grief through discussion, drawing, and writing

  • Help you find support and grow in self-awareness

Festive Fun!

Some of our carers and staff have been indulging in festive treats! The Levenmouth Carers Group enjoyed a delightful Christmas lunch at the East Dock Bar & Kitchen in Methil, while our Polish Carers Group had some lovely coffee and cake at Merchants House Café in Kirkcaldy.

Once again, all of us at Fife Carers Centre would like to wish you a wonderful festive season, and we hope that 2025 brings you joy and happiness.

All the best to you and yours!
