My name is Robert A Hunter (I also do this website) I am 69 going on 70 and I have MS. I have been using my scooter to get out and about with my dog Jasper. A lot of the walks are around Lochgelly where I live. I have a quite good mobile phone with a quite good camera so I started taking photo`s with it, then I thought what about taking video`s of the walks so I have started doing this. I start I was putting the video`s onto YouTube (ROBBIE2MS), When I started putting my videos up Youtube limited the length of the videos to 10 minutes and most of the videos can be longer than that. Now YouTube has increased this to I don`t know what but I have been able to put up quite large video.
There are video`s I have taken of the walk`s I have done around Lochgelly and video`s of some of the walks I have done around Kirkcaldy. All the walk`s are over either on roads, pavements paths, farm roads or tracks, which can be over rough uneven ground at least in part and in some cases all of the walk. Also the video`s have the sound that came with the recordings of the walks so you may wish to turn off the sound. Also the most recent video are in 720p HD. I have to hold my phone camera in my hand so the videos can be a bit jumpy. I would love to use a helmet cam but good quality ones are just too expensive. If you have thought the walks look nice, why not go and do them yourself. I hope you can see by looking at the videos if the terrains are ok or not for you to manage and the text that came with the videos show the length of the walk. I used to use a class 3, 3 wheeled scooter and am a quite experienced scooter user but even I keep a fully charged mobile phone with me containing helps numbers just in case, I also carrier a can of tyreweld just in case I get a puncture and it has come in handy. I am now using a 4 wheeled scooter and what a pain they have been compared to the 3 wheeled ones I had.

Devon Way from Tillicoultry to Alloa 03-06-2024 This is a Robert A Hunter Video The video is in 4k so please make sure your Youtube settings is at it`s highest setting so you can view the video at it`s best. The distance covered Distance covered is 7.0998 miles round trip according to gmap-pedometer.com/ I have done some of this walk before but from Dollar to near where the woodland part of the path ends then onto the paths through the town of Alloa. This time though I started at a car park next to a part of the Devon Way that goes through Tillicoultry. From here I follow Google stat-nav to almost were it says that the Devon Way finishes. At least no more shows on the Google stat-nav from that point. I am turning around here which maybe silly because as far as I can see on the maps I`m using the Devon Way seems to end no to far away. There is another path not far away, from where the Devon Way seems to finish. It`s called Alloa Waggonway, but as far as I can see on gmap-pedometer.com/ and Google maps it doesn`t seem to go very far. However, there dose seems to be quite a few other paths around it, though not connected directly. The map images are from www.gmap-pedometer.com but edited by me. |

The walk/video is around 1 hour 38 minutes long When I did this walk it was raining and a bit cold. Later in the summer I might do this walk again, just to see the differance with more leaves on the trees and hopefully dryer. Though I think this would be the only reason for me doing the walk again. The walk is some distance from where I live. |

The car park looked like it was in the wrong place and there was nothing pertaining to the paths around the nature reserve which I had went around. Though the path around part of the Nature Reserve were quite good though some were confusing. There was no paths that I found around the body’s of water, certainly not for me on my M-scooter. Afterwards I headed to the Tentsmuir Forest car park by road which I videoed using my cars dash cam, which I have added at the end of this video |

The North Side of Harrin Hill 09/10/2023 I have occasional went up Harran Hill on my mobility scooter but there comes a point in the path were my scooter just does not have the power to go up. This is the furthest point along the Lochore Meadows side of the hill where there is a speed incline to the left at the top. I have often wondered what is beyond the incline. Well, the last time I went up Lochore Meadows side of the hill I had a look at google map on my phone and found out that there was an entrance to the other side from Hill Road. The road that runs along the South side of Benarty Hill, joining Ballingry with Kelty. Once I had finished my ramble around the Meadows I thought that I would have a look at the Hill Road entrance to Harran Hill to see if it was accessible from my mobility scooter to access, and it seemed to be though until I entered it I would not know how far along the path I would be able to get until I tried it. |

Hill Road Benarty Hill 09 10 2023 by car Between Kelty and Ballingry I am going along this road to try out a ramble on my mobility scooter. I have never down this ramble before, but it is the other side of a path that starts in the grounds of Lochore meadows country park on the path called Harran Hill which I have managed to go up so far several times but have never manage to complete due to a steep part of it that is so steep that my mobility scooter can`t get up. So I eventually after a few years to try the path from it`s other end which is the reason for the journey, which can be access from this road |

I did a lot of rambles on my mobility scooter and Jasper walked besides me, right up to the morning of the day we had to put him to sleep. A Tumor came up just after he was started on a course of antibiotics for an abscess in his mouth. Within about a week it had eaten and distorted his mouth. We were told by the vet that due to Jaspers age (14/15) he might not survive an operation, so to take him home and enjoy what time he has left with us, which was not long.

Dundee V&A 07 05 2019We went into the Dundee`s V&A Museum. I am sorry to say I didn`t think much of it. It`s just a large very expensive building with lots and lots of space inside with only a few bits and pieces in it. My first thought was what a waste of money. Sorry V&A.

Road signs blocking pavements 16-11-2016

Hi there
I was out on my mobility scooter at the start of the week and I had same problems using pavements but being able to due to road signs that should have been on the road where there was plenty of room but where placed on the pavement. I know the signs are only there for the length of time of the road works but that doesn`t help the people who are wanting to use the pavement “now”.
