Our methodology and quality improvement teams recently held two webinars focusing on self-evaluation for people working in or providing adult care services.
In addition to the self-evaluation toolkits, we produced four bitesize videos on self-evaluation that we hope you will find useful in sharing with your staff for training purposes and for people who use your service. Feedback on the videos would be most welcome please email us at
People told us that they found the sessions helpful and appreciated the interactive nature of the webinars. They also enjoyed the short video of a care home manager discussing their experience of using self-evaluation and making improvements. From the evaluation forms completed after the webinars, 86% of people told us that because of the session they had an increased level of confidence to apply self-evaluation in their setting.
The bitesize videos are around 10 minutes long and cover:
- An introduction to self-evaluation
- Question one - How are we doing?
- Question two - How do we know?
- Question there - What are we going to do now?
You can watch the webinar here. You can find our self-evaluation toolkits here.
