My Youtube Videos

My name is Robert A Hunter (I also do this website) I am 63 and I have MS. I have been using my scooter to get out and about with my dog Jasper. A lot of the walks are around Lochgelly where I live. I have a quite good mobile phone with a quite good camera so I started taking photo`s with it, then I thought what about taking video`s of the walks so I have started doing this. I start I was putting the video`s onto YouTube (ROBBIE2MS), When I started putting my videos up Youtube limited the length of the videos to 10 minutes and most of the videos can be longer than that. Now YouTube has increased this to I don`t know what but I have been able to put up quite large video.
There are video`s I have taken of the walk`s I have done around Lochgelly and video`s of some of the walks I have done around Kirkcaldy. All the walk`s are over either on roads, pavements paths, farm roads or tracks, which can be over rough uneven ground at least in part and in some cases all of the walk. Also the video`s have the sound that came with the recordings of the walks so you may wish to turn off the sound. Also the most recent video are in 720p HD. I have to hold my phone camera in my hand so the videos can be a bit jumpy. I would love to use a helmet cam but good quality ones are just too expensive. If you have thought the walks look nice, why not go and do them yourself. I hope you can see by looking at the videos if the terrains are ok or not for you to manage and the text that came with the videos show the length of the walk. I used to use a class 3, 3 wheeled scooter and am a quite experienced scooter user but even I keep a fully charged mobile phone with me containing helps numbers just in case, I also carrier a can of tyreweld just in case I get a puncture and it has come in handy. I am now using a 4 wheeled scooter and what a pain they have been compared to the 3 wheeled ones I had.

Birds In My Back Garden
The Photos and video in this video where taken by myself in my rear garden in King Street, Cowdenbeath, Fife. Some where taken through the open kitchen door and some through the kitchen window so not to frighten the birds away. |

Around Leuchatsbeath Meadow & Woodland Cowdenbeath 08 07 2020 A walk around Leuchatsbeath Meadow & Woodland Cowdenbeath on my Mobility Scooter 08-07-2020 I have been around Leuchatsbeath Meadow & Woodland a few times on my Mobility Scooter but this is the first time without Jasper plus the video is in 4k. Well, it started of as 4k. What it will be like by the time it gets onto YouTube. I also went to the Millennium Garden which is through a side entrance into the Leuchatsbeath Meadow & Woodland Cowdenbeath from Perth Road/A909. |

Thank You Jasper for all the good Memory's 20/06/2020
He was with us almost al the time. Even when we went on holiday (UK). I did a lot of rambles on my mobility scooter and Jasper walked besides me, right up to the morning of the day we had to put him to sleep. A Tumor came up just after he was started on a course of antibiotics for an abscess in his mouth. Within about a week it had eaten and distorted his mouth. We were told by the vet that due to Jaspers age (14/15) he might not survive an operation, so to take him home and enjoy what time he has left with us, which was not long.

Sunny Cowdenbeath High Street in Lockdown Cowdenbeath High Street in the Sun and LockDown 11/05/2020 This is a Robert A Hunter Video I was at the Chemist at the bottom of Broad Street and I thought was a lovely sunny morning and since the last video I took of Cowdenbeath High Street was on a murky day I thought I`d do one in the sunshine. |

Around some of Dundee from our Strathmore Av Hotel (Travelodge) 04-05-2019 This is a Robert A Hunter Video This video runs at 3x normal speed because our mobility scooters runs at a maximum speed of 4 mph so I thought I`d better speed up the video a bit. My wife and I went for a short Break in Dundee at the beginning of May 2019. We are both disabled and we have found that the Travelodge, Strathmore Avenue mostly suits us and it has a casual restaurant/bar, though very basic we find it ok when we aren't up to going out for a meal. |

Dundee V&A 07 05 2019We went into the Dundee`s V&A Museum. I am sorry to say I didn`t think much of it. It`s just a large very expensive building with lots and lots of space inside with only a few bits and pieces in it. My first thought was what a waste of money. Sorry V&A.

Road signs blocking pavements 16-11-2016

Hi there
I was out on my mobility scooter at the start of the week and I had same problems using pavements but being able to due to road signs that should have been on the road where there was plenty of room but where placed on the pavement. I know the signs are only there for the length of time of the road works but that doesn`t help the people who are wanting to use the pavement “now”.
