Free blind companion rail travel – launch of new scheme

The untapped potential of flexible working for people and employers

This Lunchtime Learning session is presented by Flexibility Works, Scotland's experts on flexible working. They provide training, consultancy, insights, and a community for employers that want to develop more flexible workplaces.

Climate Know How

Club Optimeyes - New social group for young people who are blind and partially-sighted

Club Optimeyes by Seescape will tackle loneliness and isolation associated with sight loss, with a range of fun activities and events designed especially for people who are under 40 years old.

The monthly meet ups will include live music nights, trips to the theatre, live sport, and games nights.

Dementia Carers Education Programme

Come along to an informal dementia carers group to learn about caring for someone with dementia. 

The groups are a chance to talk to other carers and staff working in dementia care over a cup of tea. 

The sessions are held on a Wednesday afternoon from 1.30 until 3.30 at Alzheimer Scotland Kirkcaldy.

New club for maths-curious pupils in St Andrews

The unique club known as Maths Circle, will be opening soon after the Easter holidays and is hosted by the University of St Andrews.

This free programme, delivered by the charity We Solve Problems offers local students of Fife and Dundee in school years P7 to S4 an opportunity to be a part of a community of like-minded maths loving problem solvers.
