No Wrong Door Fife

Lunchtime Learning - No Wrong Door

Wednesday 04 June, 12.00 - 1.00pm, online

This session will introduce third sector organisations to No Wrong Door - a key strategic change being undertaken within Fife Council to ensure services move from being service-centric to person-centric. This new approach will be rolled out across Fife, but is being developed in the Cowdenbeath area from this summer.

Whilst this approach is primarily about Council services, staff and interactions with citizens, there is an obvious requirement for third sector services to understand the approach and - crucially - align with the approach. This will result in different ways of working, and is likely to impact on how services are commissioned.

This move from “service-centric to person-centric” will require a re-design of the way the Council itself works, as well as the way it works with partners, wider public services, and the community.

Come along to hear from James Ross, Head of Service, Children and Families and Justice Social Work Services and, Chief Social Work Officer who is leading the design and implementation of No Wrong Door in Cowdenbeath.
