With summer just around the corner, this bulletin includes all training and events that are scheduled to take place right up until the Fife school holidays on Friday 04 July. There are lots of opportunities to learn, get involved across the third sector, and funding to apply for.
We'd also love to know what your organisation has planned for the summer holidays! From nature walks, beach cleans, children's groups, lunch provisions, to festivals and everything in between, we want to hear about it and we'll include it on our website and in a future bulletin.

Park Golf and Lunch Event for Unpaid Carers
|
|
To celebrate Carers Week (09 - 16 June), FVA's Respitality team hosted a free park golf and lunch event for unpaid carers.
The day included a fun and relaxing session of park golf at Dunnikier Park Community Golf's beautiful green in Kirkcaldy. Attendees were welcomed and enjoyed tea and coffee before enjoying a round of park golf in beautiful sunshine. After the session, everyone enjoyed a free buffet lunch and activities in the clubhouse.

Annual Unpaid Carers' Experience Survey 2025
|
|
Fife Health and Social Care Partnership (FHSCP) have launched this year's Annual Unpaid Carers' Experience Survey.
Feedback from the survey will help to inform and shape FHSCP's improvement plans and decisions about what support they are able to offer to unpaid carers.
As an unpaid carer living or supporting someone in Fife, this is your chance to share your thoughts, experiences, and let them know how you are supported to carry out this important role.

This course will explore the principles of background checking of all types for both staff and volunteers. Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) underwent significant changes in April 2025 and this course will provide an updated overview of PVG and Disclosure regulations for 2025.

Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club: Back
on Track Programme for Young People
Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club have announced they are providing another fully funded, 12-week programme for young adults in Fife.
'Back on Track' is a weekly programme for 16-25 year-olds, focused on mental health and wellbeing.
The programme runs from every Thursday from 26 June 2025 until 11 September 2025.
There are places for 12 candidates who will have to travel to Cardenden Motocross Track for this programme.

Cosy Kingdom Training for Frontline Staff and Volunteers
Cosy Kingdom run training sessions for frontline staff and volunteers to support people in Fife to stay warm and manage their energy bills.
The course lasts for around 2.5 hours, face-to-face, to a class size of 5-15 attendees.

Befriending Networks: How To Have Your First Conversation
Whether a first conversation with a befriending match is in person or through distance methods such as a telephone call, Befriending Networks want to ensure that befrienders feel confident to engage. This guide is designed to support befrienders and help a befriending match begin with positivity.
