Here is your weekly round-up of content from our website, www.fva.org.
As many of us begin to wind down for the summer holidays, it's a great opportunity to catch up on your learning. While our own training programme is quieter over the summer, Volunteer Scotland continues to offer a range of sessions to help you stay up to date with your PVG knowledge.
We'll be taking a short summer break, and the News and Events bulletin will return on Friday 24 July.

Footcare Fife Introduces Personal Footcare Packs
|
|
|
We've made an important change to our Footcare Fife service from 01 July 2026.
To help make our service more sustainable while continuing to provide the high standard of care you expect, every client will receive their own personal Footcare pack. This includes a handy toiletry bag containing an information leaflet and your own pair of nail nippers, which are yours to keep.
While this is a new way of working, everything else about our service remains exactly as you've come to expect. You'll still see our friendly volunteers, and the appointment fee remains £10 — a price that has stayed the same since 2014.
This small change will help us reduce waste and make our service a little greener for everyone.
