Work with FVA

We are looking for a Head of Health and Social Care who will be the strategic lead for health and social care policy and activity for FVA.

In this role you will chair our forums, address gaps in health and social care provision, build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, and lead a team on health and social care projects.

  • 35 hours per week (part-time may be considered)
  • £40,000 per annum
  • Living Pension - 9% employer, 3% employee
  • Based in Glenrothes with options to work from other FVA locations

Health and Social Care Forum

The forum is a fantastic space for third sector colleagues to come along and hear about key developments in health and social care in Fife and nationally, discuss significant issues and network with other third sector organisations.

Lunchtime Learning: The Role of the Disability Employment Advisor

Thursday 26 March, 12.00 - 1.00pm, online

Those with a health condition who want to progress towards work, start work or sustain employment have access to support available from JobCentre Plus in the form of their local Disability Employment Adviser.

Lunchtime Learning - Access to Work and Disability Confident

Thursday 16 April 12.00 - 1.00pm, online

Access to Work can help individuals get or stay in work if they have a physical or mental health condition or disability. This can include grants that may help with additional costs beyond “reasonable adjustments”. It can also help support to manage mental health at work.
