Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) FVA Health and Social Care Forum Fri 25/09/2026
Good afternoon,
Many thanks for contributing to our recent consultation regarding the future of our forums.
Feedback highlighted the value of networking, information sharing and collaboration, alongside a need for stronger follow-up, improved communication and more themed discussions.
To make best use of members' time and strengthen collaboration across sectors, the Health and Social Care Forum and Mental Health Forum will merge into a single forum, meeting every two months.
The Forum will focus on:

Prevention and early intervention.

Access to services and reducing barriers.
-
Community support and resilience.
-
Partnership working and service integration.
-
Financial sustainability and workforce issues.
-
Improving outcomes for people and communities in Fife.
Mental health will remain a standing item within the Forum programme, with dedicated opportunities for discussion where required.
Membership is open to organisations involved in health and social care in Fife, including:

Charities, voluntary organisations and community groups.

Social enterprises and independent providers.
-
Health, social care and local authority partners.

Funders and strategic partners.
