Fife Health and Social Care Partnership has asked us to inform you about an opportunity where you can participate in a new development to help shape the future of health and social care services in Fife; a Fife Wide Public Engagement Forum that will bring together members of the public, alongside health, social work, and social care services, known as Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.
What is the Public Engagement Forum?
The forum will bring together members of the public with Fife’s Integration Joint Board (IJB) which is made up of representatives from Fife Council, NHS Fife, Third Sector and the Independent Sector organisations. The IJB has responsibility for the strategic planning, resourcing and oversight of a wide range of adult health and social care services and children's health services within Fife (known as the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership).
Why join the Forum?
Every day, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership strives to meet the needs of Fife's communities and to make health and social care services better. Speaking with and listening to people who use their services will help them understand what works well and where improvements may be needed. As a member of the Forum, you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts and work closely with Health and Social Care services to help shape Fife's health and social care services for the future, to build a stronger and healthier Fife. By joining the Forum your voice can make a difference.
What you need to know:
- This is a voluntary position. While you will not be paid, the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership will cover your travel expenses.
- You do not need experience of having been on a panel or forum previously as you will receive support to take part.
- You will be invited to attend Public Engagement Forum meetings, which will be held in person and/or online up to four times a year.
