I get my Gas and Electric at present from SSE and I have applied for and got £140 off my electricity bill under the Warm Home Discount Scheme.
I recently received a letter from SSE say that I had been successful in getting Warm Home Discount Scheme and that I might also be eligible for their Free Appliance Scheme which is run in conjunction with Charis Grants. This scheme officers a limited number of free A rated appliances to customers, which includes washing machines, cookers and fridges.
If you do not have one of these appliances or if yours is broken or over 10 years old this scheme offers a free replacement.
